Legendary Modern Decks 2026 – Sky Striker
The basic idea of the Sky Striker strategy is using one main monster, Sky Striker Ace – Raye, that can change into many different forms. You’ll back Raye up with powerful Spell Cards, the more the better! That’s because the “Sky Striker” Spells have their true power unlocked once you have 3 or more Spell Cards in your Graveyard. These effects are so strong that this Deck includes a card like Upstart Goblin that just replaces itself and goes to the Graveyard so you can put Spell Cards in the Graveyard and power up your “Sky Striker” Spells without wasting valuable resources.

Ready to Engage!
When going first, you want to get 3 Spell Cards in the Graveyard as fast as possible, then activate Sky Striker Mobilize – Engage! as many times as you can, using cards like Sky Striker Ace = Zero to add Engage from your DeckorSky Striker Ace – Kagari to get it back from your Graveyard. Each time you activate Engage with at least 3 Spell Cards in your Graveyard, you add a “Sky Striker” card of your choice to your hand and draw another card.
At the end of your first turn, you want to have Sky Striker Ace – Shizuku on the field with 4 or 5 Set cards, which can be any combination of Sky Striker Mecha – Widow Anchors, Sky Striker Mecha – Shark Cannons, or Sky Striker Mecha – Eagle Boosters. These are the cards you need to control the field and disrupt your opponent’s turn until it comes back to your turn where you can use Sky Striker Mobilize – Linkage! to win the game!

Here are some useful combinations you can use to help set up your strongest opening!
Area Zero + Raye
- Activate Sky Striker Airspace – Area Zero targeting Sky Striker Ace – Raye.
- Chain Raye’s effect, Tributing to Special Summon a “Sky Striker Ace” monster.
When you resolve the Chain, you’ll Summon the monster with Raye’s effect, then the first part of Area Zero’s resolves, letting you excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck and still add an excavated “Sky Striker” card to your hand even though Raye isn’t around anymore.

Area Zero + Multirole
- Activate both Area Zero and Multirole.
- Use Multirole’s effect to send Area Zero to the Graveyard.
- Activate Area Zero’s effect to Special Summon Sky Striker Ace – Raye.
- Activate Raye’s effect to Special Summon Sky Striker Ace = Zero.
- Activate Zero’s effect to add Engage to your hand.
Anytime you have Raye, you can use the effect to Summon Sky Striker Ace = Zero and grab any “Sky Striker” Spell from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand, but keep a look out for this pair of cards because it both gets you Raye and prevents your opponent from Chaining to your important Spell Cards for the rest of the turn.

Shizuku + Multirole
In your End Phase, you activate and resolve the effects of Sky Striker Ace – Shizuku and Sky Striker Mecha Modules – Multirole one at a time, in the order of your choosing.Because Shizuku only lets you add a “Sky Striker” Spell isn’t already in your Graveyard, using Multirole’s effect firstandSetting the only copy of a “Sky Striker” Spell in your Graveyard makes it so you can add another copy of that card to your hand when you activate Shizuku’s effect.

On the other hand, if there’s a Quick-Play Spell you’re missing that you need for your opponent’s turn, like Widow Anchor or Sky Striker Mecha – Eagle Booster, you can activate Shizuku first to add that card to your hand, then activate it targeting Shizuka. Then you can Set that card with Multirole right away instead of having to wait for your next turn!
You may wonder why there’s only 1 copy of Area Zero and Multirole when they’re so powerful. That’s because you can’t really use more than 1 at a time, and it’s so easy to pull them out of your Deck with your other card effects that it’s safe to just play 1 of each and use that extra space in your Deck to play even more powerful Spell Cards that can help you in a variety of situations!
Legendary Technique: 8000 Damage Swift Strike
There are obviously advantages to choosing to go first, but one advantage of choosing to go second with Sky Striker is that you can easily deal 8000 damage in a single Battle Phase! At minimum, you’ll need to rid your opponent’s field of monsters with your Spells first, and you’ll need Sky Striker Ace – Raye and Sky Striker Mobilize – Linkage! to pull this off.
- Destroy your opponent’s monsters with your Spells.
- Normal Summon Sky Striker Ace – Raye, then attack directly for 1500.
- Use Raye’s effect to Special Summon Sky Striker Ace – Hayate, attack for another 1500, and use Hayate’s effect to send Sky Striker Ace – Roze to the Graveyard.
- Activate Sky Striker Mobilize – Linkage!, sending the Hayate to the Graveyard, to Special Summon Sky Striker Ace – Kagari.
- Use Kagari’s effect to add back the Linkage you just activated.
- Attack directly with Kagari for at least 2500. (Kagari’s ATK will be boosted by 1000 thanks to Linkage plus more by its own effect.)
- Activate Linkage again, sending the Kagari for any other “Sky Striker Ace” monster you can Summon, and attack to deplete your opponent’s last 2500 LP!
Modifying This Deck
A nice addition to the Sky Striker Deck could be Forbidden Droplet! You can use it in a Chain in which you’ve activated a bunch of Quick-Play Spells and send them to the Graveyard to pay the cost. Since you already have a lot of Quick-Play Spells, Radiant Typhoon Vision is a great way to draw even more cards and load up your Graveyard with Spells! If Spells and Traps are giving you trouble, you can also add a Mystical Space Typhoon as well so that your Visions can double as removal whenever you need it!
