To start Day 2 here at TEAM YCS Las Vegas, we have Jeffrey Louangkhamhan and Alexander Juneja, two Duelists who are both using Fiendsmith Yummy in this tournament.

Louangkhamhan is a part of Team Play4Latinos, with Andres Torres and Rene Ybarra dueling alongside him. Juneja is a member of Team Sun Valley Gaming, alongside Jackson Racuh and Mitchell Martin.

Juneja hasn’t played since YCS Anaheim 2025, which he finished in the Top 8! Louangkhamhan hasn’t topped a YCS in a while, but has been playing regionals non-stop recently. They’re both playing Fiendsmith Yummy this weekend, a powerful strategy that is celebrated for always having the ability to push through the opponent’s interruptions. 

Both teams have the same record and need to continue to win out in order to make it into the Top 8. 

Duel One

Juneja won the dice roll and opted to start the match. 

Juneja activated Sky Striker Mecha – Hornet Drones and immediately turned his Sky Striker Ace Token into Sky Striker Ace – Kagari! He activated Kagari and added back the Hornet Drones and replayed it immediately. Juneja then Link Summoned Cupsy★Yummy Way and activated its effect, but was stopped by Louangkhamhan’s Dominus Purge!

Juneja looked over his options for a moment, then used Cupsy to Link Summon Yummy★Snatchy, which he used to Yummyusment★Acroquey onto the field. He Normal Summoned Effect Veiler and was ready to Synchro Summon when Louangkhamhan pointed out that Veiler is a Tuner! Instead, Juneja Link Summoned S:P Little Knight. He used Little Knight’s effect and banished Acroquey. Then ended his turn.

Louangkhamhan opened Marshmao☆Yummy, Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion, Lollipo☆Yummy, and Fiendsmith’s Tract. He drew Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to start his turn. 

Louangkhamhan Special Summoned Marshmao and then Normal Summoned Lollipo. He used Marshmao to Link Summon his own Snatchy and activated its effect to get his own Acroquey. Louangkhamhan then Synchro Summoned Cupsy★Yummy Way with Lollipo and Snatchy. He activated Cupsy and Acroquey’s effects, clearing away Juneja’s Little Knight and adding Cooky☆Yummy and Cupsy☆Yummy to his hand and discarding his Ghost Bell. 

Louangkhamhan Special Summoned Cupsy and used its effect to add Yummyusment☆Mignon to his hand. Juneja activated Mulcharmy Fuwalos! Louangkhamhan paused for a moment, needing to make sure he didn’t give his opponent too many cards. He activated his Mignon and then went into his Battle Phase. Louangkhamhan attacked with both Cupsys and then went into his Main Phase 2. 

Louangkhamhan tried to end his Main Phase, and Juneja activated Nibiru, the Primal Being! Louangkhamhan Chained his Cupsy★Yummy Way and returned it to Special Summon back his Snatchy, then lost both Cupsy and Snatchy to Nibiru and got a Primal Being Token in Attack Position. He ended his turn.

Juneja had Nibiru attack and destroy the Token. He then ended his turn.

Louangkhamhan drew Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit and looked over his Graveyard. He activated Acroquey’s effect and put Acroquey, Snatchy, and Lollipo back into his Deck. Louangkhamhan Normal Summoned Cooky☆Yummy and used it to Link Summon Yummy★Snatchy. He used Snatchy’s effect to place Yummyusment☆Mignon onto the field, and used it to bring back his Cupsy, which added Yummy☆Surprise. 

Louangkhamhan continued to Synchro Summon Lollipo★Yummy Way and Special Summoned back his Cooky and Snatchy. He tried to move into the Battle Phase, but Juneja had another copy of Nibiru! Louangkhamhan used Lollipo’s effect and shuffled it back into the Deck before losing his board to Nibiru again. He Link Summoned Link Spider, then activated Surprise to Special Summon his Marshmao☆Yummy. Louangkhamhan tried to use Marshmao’s effect but was stopped by Effect Veiler.

Louangkhamhan activated Fiendsmith’s Tract! Juneja knew he wouldn’t be able to come back from a full Fiendsmith combo after using all his resources on Louangkhamhan’s Yummy monsters and conceded!

Duel Two

Juneja chose to start the second Duel.

Juneja Normal Summoned Fabled Lurrie, Louangkhamhan tried to use Mulcharmy Fuwalos but Juneja Chained Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring! He Link Summoned Fiendsmith’s Requiem, and then Special Summoned Cupsy☆Yummy! Juneja activated Cupsy’s effect but was stopped by Louangkhamhan’s own Ash Blossom!

Juneja activated Requiem and Special Summoned Lacrima the Crimson Tears, which he then activated and sent Fiendsmith Engraver to the Graveyard. He Link Summoned Yummy★Snatchy with Cupsy and used it to get Yummyusment☆Mignon from his Deck. Juneja then Link Summoned Fiendsmith’s Sequence, and activated its effect to Fusion Summon Fiendsmith’s Lacrima! He activated Lacrima’s effect and added back his Engraver, which he then used to add Fiendsmith’s Tract.

Juneja activated Tract and added the Fabled Lurrie that he had shuffled back moments before. Juneja discarded the Lurrie and Special Summoned it, then Special Summoned his Engraver and Xyz Summoned D/D/D Wave High King Caesar. He Link Summoned Linkuriboh with Lurrie, then activated Mignon and brought back his Cupsy. 

Juneja Synchro Summoned Cupsy★Yummy Way with Cupsy and Linkuriboh, and tried to use it, but Louangkhamhan Chained Dominus Purge, Juneja Chained Cupsy★Yummy Way, and Special Summoned his Snatchy and Cupsy back to the field. He Special Summoned Lollipo☆Yummy and shuffled Ash Blossom back into Louangkhamhan’s Deck. Then, Juneja used Lollipo and Sequence to Link Summon S:P Little Knight, which he activated to banish Louangkhamhan’s Purge.

Juneja ended his turn.

Louangkhamhan only had Cupsy☆Yummy and Cooky☆Yummy, he drew Bystial Druiswurm to start his turn. Louangkhamhan Normal Summoned Cupsy and activated its effect, Juneja Chained S:P Little Knight and banished both Cupsy and S:P, Louangkhamhan added Marshmao with Cupsy’s effect.

Louangkhamhan tried to Special Summon Marshmao☆Yummy, but Juneja Chained Caesar’s effect!

Unable to make any other plays, Louangkhamhan conceded, and we are going to game three!

Duel Three

Both Duelists exchanged pleasantries while they got set up for the final Duel. 

Louangkhamhan chose to start the Duel and drew Lollipo☆Yummy, Nibiru, the Primal Being; Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion, Yummy☆Surprise, and Dominus Purge in his opening hand.

At the start of the Draw Phase, Juneja activated Mulcharmy Purulia! Louangkhamhan Normal Summoned Cooky and used it to Link Summon Snatchy. He activated Snatchy, but Juneja Chained Infinite Impermanence to negate Snatchy’s effect.

Louangkhamhan activated Yummy☆Surprise, but Juneja Chained Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion! He didn’t have any other plays, so Louangkhamhan ended his turn.

Juneja drew to start his turn and Special Summoned Marshmao☆Yummy. He used it to Link Summon his own Yummy★Snatchy, which placed Yummyusment☆Mignon onto the field. He Special Summoned Cupsy☆Yummy and activated its effect. Louangkhamhan thought for a moment before activating Dominus Purge to stop Cupsy’s effect.

Juneja looked over his options and then used Mignon to Special Summon back his Marshmao. He used Cupsy and Snatchy to Synchro Summon Cupsy★Yummy Way. Juneja activated his Cupsy’s effect and added Lollipo☆Yummy and Cooky☆Yummy, he discarded his second Infinite Impermanence. Juneja Special Summoned Cooky and used its effect to reduce Snatchy’s ATK. 

Juneja attempted to leave his Main Phase, and Louangkhamhan paused to consult with his teammates. They all agreed to not activate the Nibiru, the Primal Being in Louangkhamhan’s hand. Juneja entered the Battle Phase and tried to activate Yummy☆Surprise and Louangkhamhan Chained Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion! Juneja Chained Cupsy★Yummy Way and swapped his Synchro monster for two more Yummy monsters and attacked with everything to win the match!
