Duel One

Howell opened up Duel 1 with Gogogo Goblindbergh, Gagaga Ganbara Knight, two copies of Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit, and Nibiru, the Primal Being.

He Normal Summoned the Golbindbergh and activated its effect to Special Summon Dodododwarf Gogogoglove from his Deck. He combined both monsters to Xyz Summon Gagagaga Girl in Defense Position. He detached Goblindbergh to activate its effect and add Onomatopickup from his Deck to his hand. He used the effect of the detached Goblindbergh to add Onomatokage from his Deck to his hand. He activated Onomatopickup to add Onomatopaira from his Deck to his hand and then activated it by discarding a Ghost Ogre from his hand. He added Zubababa Knight and Utopic Onomatopoeia from his Deck to his hand. He activated the Ganbara Knight’s effect by revealing Gagagaga Magician from his Extra Deck and Special Summoned it along with Utopia Onomatopoeia. Next, he used Utopic Onomatopoeia’s effect to Special Summon Zubababa Knight and Onomatokage from his hand. He used Zubababa Knight’s effect to add Zubababancho Gagagacoat from his Deck to his hand. He combined his Knight with Utopic Onomatopoeia to Xyz Summon Galaxy Photon Dragon. He detached the Knight to use the Photon Dragon’s effect and add Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal from his Deck to his hand. He then used the effect of the detached Knight to add Gagaga Ganbara Knight from his Deck to his hand. He Special Summoned Primal from his hand next and activated the effects of Galaxy Photon Dragon and Primal. He changed his Primal’s Level to 4 and added Seventh Tachyon from his Deck to his hand with Primal’s effect. He next combined Onomatokage with Photon Dragon to Summon Eclipse Twins. Then he combined Twins with Gagagaga Girl to Xyz Summon Number F0: Utopia Future Zexal in Defense Position. He Special Summoned Onomatokage from his Graveyard with its effect next, then Special Summoned Gogogoglove from his Graveyard with its effect. He activated Seventh Tachyon by revealing Number 105: Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus from his Extra Deck and then added Astraltopia from his Deck to his hand. Next, he combined Gogogoglove with Onomatokage to Xyz Summon Number 39: Utopia Double. He detached an Xyz Material from it to add Double or Nothing! from his Deck to his hand and Xyz Summon Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray over it. He then detached an Xyz Material from it to attach ZW – Pegasus Twin Saber as an Equip Spell Card to it from his Deck. Howell Special Summoned Gagagacoat from his hand. He combined Primal with Gagaga Ganbara Knight to Xyz Summon Gagagaga Magician. He used the Magician’s effect by detaching the Knight and Special Summoned Utopia Double back to the field. He added a Gogogo Goblindbergh from his Deck to his hand with the Knight’s effect and then combined Utopia Double with Gagagaga Magician to Xyz Summon a second Number F0: Utopia Future Zexal. He Special Summoned Astroltopia next and used its effect to add Unbreakable Xyz Barrier from his Deck to his hand. He combined Astraltopia with Gagagacoat to Xyz Summon Tornado Dragon and then Set his Unbreakable Xyz Barrier before ending his turn.

Clayton activated the effect of Mimighoul Archfiend in his hand and Set it to Clayton’s field. Next, he Normal Summoned Mimighoul Master and activated its effect. Howell negated it with Pegasus Twin Saber. Next, Clayton activated Mimighoul Charm, and then activated Swords of Revealing Light. Howell Chained the effect of his Tornado Dragon to destroy it. Swords was destroyed, but Mimighoul Archfiend still flipped face-up and its effect activated. Clayton Chained his Charm’s effect, then Howell Chained the effect of Unbreakable Xyz Barrier to negate and destroy the Charm and also destroy Archfiend by detaching one Xyz Material from F0 and one Xyz Material from Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray. Howell discarded Nibiru from his hand when the Archfiend’s effect resolved and Clayton drew a card; but the card was no help to Clayton. He conceded and Match moved on to Duel 2!

Duel Two

Clayton started off Duel 2 by activating the effect of Mimighoul Cerberus and Setting it on Howell’s field.

Next, he activating Mimighoul Dungeon and used its effect to add Mimighoul Dragon from his Deck to his hand. He Normal Summoned the Dragon and used its effect to add Mimighoul Maker from his Deck to his hand. He activated it by revealing Mimighoul Slime and Mimighoul Archfiend from his Deck. He randomly Set the Slime to Howell’s field and added Archfiend to his own hand. Next, he Special Summoned Mimighoul Master from his hand and activated its effect to add Mimighoul Fairy from his Deck to his hand. He used the Fairy’s effect in his hand to Set it to Howell’s field. He activated the effect of Mimighoul Archfiend to Set it to Howell’s field next. He Set a card to his back row and then ended his turn.

Howell drew Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit and added it to his hand of Cosmic Cyclone, Gagaga Utopic Tactics, ZS – Ascended Sage, Seventh Tachyon, and Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill. He activated Cosmic Cyclone by giving up 1000 Life Points and banished Mimighoul Dungeon from the field. Next, he Flip Summoned Mimighoul Archfiend, triggering its effect. He discarded Ghost Mourner from his hand and gave the Archfiend back to Clayton. Next, he Flip Summoned Fairy and activated its effect. He Flip Summoned Cerberus next, activating its effect to banish Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal, Double or Nothing!, and Cosmic Cyclone from the top of his Deck. He flipped Slime next, but its effect couldn’t resolve and it was sent to the Graveyard since Clayton’s field was full. Howell Special Summoned Ascended Sage from his hand and then activated Seventh Tachyon by revealing Number 105 from his Extra Deck. He added Gogogo Goblindbergh from his Deck to his hand and returned Ghost Ogre from his hand to his Deck. He activated Gagaga Utopia Tactics next. He Normal Summoned the Goblindbergh and used its effect to Special Summon Onomatokage from his Deck. He combined the Golbindbergh with Onomatokage to Xyz Summon Tornado Dragon. He immediately activated its effect by detaching Goblindbergh and targeted Floodgate Trap Hole, which was Chained to put the Tornado Dragon face-down. Howell used his Goblindbergh’s effect to add Ganbara Knight to his hand then Special Summoned it. He combined it with Ascended Sage to Xyz Summon Gagagaga Girl and detached the Knight to activate its effect. He added Onomatopickup to his hand, then used the Knight’s effect to add Onomatokage to his hand. Next, he activated the Onomatopickup to add Onomatopaira from his Deck to his hand. He activated it by discarding the last card in his hand and then added Zubababancho Gagagacoat and Utopia Onomatopoeia from his Deck to his hand. He Special Summoned the Gagagacoat and then Special Summoned Onomatokage from his Graveyard. He combined the Gagagacoat with Onomatokage to Xyz Summon Eclipse Twins and then used the effect of Tactics to try to destroy Mimighoul Master, but it couldn’t be destroyed by the card effect. Next, Howell detached an Xyz Material from the Twins so that it could attack twice, and attacked Archfiend and Dragon with the Twins. Gagagaga Girl attacked Fairy next. Clayton dropped down to 2100 Life Points from all of the attacks, and three of his monsters were destroyed. Next, Howell combined Gagagaga Girl with Twins to Xyz Summon Number F0: Utopia Future Zexal and used the effect of Tactics to destroy the Primal on Clayton’s field.

Clayton activated the effect of Slime in his hand to Set it to Howell’s field. Then, Clayton used the effect of Mimighoul Armor to Set it to Howell’s field too. Howell activated the last card in his hand – Swords of Revealing Light! He flipped all of Howell’s monsters face-up, and Howell activated the effects of Armor and Slime. Both monsters returned to Clayton and Slime allowed Clayton to Special Summon Mimighoul Dragon from his Deck. Clayton used the Dragon’s effect to add Mimighoul Dungeon from his Deck to his hand. Clayton combined 2 of his monsters to Xyz Summon Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale and then entered his Battle Phase. He attacked directly with the Nightingale twice, inflicting 400 points of damage each time, and then upgraded the Nightingale into Downerd Magician in Main Phase 2. Next, he Xyz Summoned Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder over the Downerd Magician. He activated the effect of ZEUS to clear the field; Howell Chained the effect of F0, and Clayton Chained the effect of ZEUS again by detaching 2 more Xyz Materials from it! As the Chain resolved, all cards on the field were sent to the Graveyard – but when Eclipse Twins went to the Graveyard, its effect activated allowing Howell to Special Summon Tornado Dragon from his Graveyard with Gagagaga Girl attached as an Xyz Material. Clayton activated Mimighoul Dungeon, and when he tried to use its effect, Howell used Tornado Dragon’s effect to destroy it.

On his next turn, Howell activated Seventh Ascension and Clayton conceded, realizing he was defeated
