Angel Garcia from Chicago, Illinois is using a Mitsurugi Ryzeal Deck with Dogmatika cards in his first-ever YCS. He took a round 1 loss due to registering late – but learned his lesson about registering on time for future events. So far, he’s having a blast! “I was imagining a really big Regionals, because I’ve been to Regionals before – but it’s so much more than that. There are so many good vibes in the air,” he said. Angel says there are a lot more competitive players here at YCS Providence than you would find at a Regional, and he can feel it in the room. He’s having a great time so far at the YCS!
Alex Solis from Peekskill, New York is also using a Mitsurugi Ryzeal Deck this weekend. He’s excited to be here, and says the tournament hall is a lot bigger than he expected. He’s having a great time and looking forward to future rounds.
Zachary McLaughlin from East Bridgewater, Massachusetts is using a Mitsurugi Ryzeal Deck this weekend for his first-ever YCS. “It’s going by pretty quick, but it’s more rounds than I expected,” he told me. “It’s a long day.” He said it’s cool to see people from locals, plus people who win YCS events.
