Duel One
Woods started off the first Duel by activating Wishes for Eyes of Blue by discarding a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from his hand.
He added Sage with Eyes of Blue and Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons from his Deck to his hand with its effect and then Normal Summoned Sage. He used its effect to add Effect Veiler from his Deck to his hand and then sent the Sage to the Graveyard to Link Summon Spirit with Eyes of Blue. He activated it and then activated the effect of the Maiden of White in his hand by sending it from his hand to his Graveyard. He placed True Light from his Deck face-up into his Spell & Trap Zone. Next, he used the effect of his Mausoleum to increase his Spirit with Eyes of Blue’s ATK and send a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from his Deck to his Graveyard. He activated Spirit’s effect to Tribute it and Special Summon a Blue-Eyes from his Graveyard and then activated the effect of the Maiden in his Graveyard to Special Summon it. He Normal Summoned a Cloudragon and activated its effect by Tributing it. He Special Summoned Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal from his Deck. He activated Tachyon Primal’s effect, and when Woods Chained Effect Veiler targeting the Tachyon Primal, Bak used his Called by the Grave to target Effect Veiler in the Graveyard; but Woods Chained his Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon from his Extra Deck! The Ultimate Spirit Dragon’s effect prevented Called by the Grave from banishing Effect Veiler, allowing the Veiler’s effect to resolve and negate the Tachyon Primal’s effect. Bak attacked Jet Dragon with Primal, and Jet Dragon’s effect returned Tachyon Primal to Bak’s hand at the start of the Damage Step. Bak ended his turn with no cards on the field, and in the End Phase Woods activated the effect of True Light to Special Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon from his Graveyard. He used his Maiden’s effect next to Special Summon it from the Graveyard, and the Ultimate Spirit Dragon was destroyed due to the effect of the Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon.
