QQ stands for Quick Questions! Many Duelists are expecting Ryzeal and Maliss Decks to run rampant this weekend, and they’re using all of the tech cards they can to get ahead of the competition. I surveyed some of the Duelists in attendance to see which tech cards they’re counting on to help them win YCS Houston. Check out their responses!

“Consecrated Light to beat Maliss Decks. I’m playing Drytron and can get Consecrated Light with the effect of Cyber Angel Benten.” -Eduardo Arriaga

“I’m on Burst Stream of Destruction in Blue-Eyes this weekend. It has that ‘wow’ factor because players are expecting other cards from Blue-Eyes, but they’re not expecting Burst Stream of Destruction.” -Michael Campos

“Ido the Supreme Magical Force. I use Branded combos to give it to my opponent so they can’t Summon.” -Alfredo Rodriguez, Jr.

“My tech card is Mementotlan Mace. It lets me steal an opponent’s monster on their turn to cut them off from a Link or Xyz Material.” -Zachary Dotson

“Starliege Photon Blast Dragon. It protects monsters with 2000 or higher ATK. I use Duo Drive to boost its ATK so that it also protects itself. It protects against a lot of cards that target or destroy, like Infinite Impermanence and Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit.” -Oscar Rivera
